Matthew first joined Wishart Law Firm LLP in 2015 as a co-op student and continued on as an administrative assistant while completing his Honours Bachelor of Administration with a specialization in Accounting from Algoma University in 2020 and his Juris Doctor with a specialization in Aboriginal and Indigenous Law from Lakehead University in 2023. While completing his Juris Doctor, Matthew served as the Vice President of Finance for the Lakehead Law Students’ Society and was a Deans Fellow in his second and third years.
Matthew is also a part-time faculty member at Algoma University.
Currently, Matthew is an associate lawyer focusing his practice in Real Estate and Development Law, Corporate and Business Law and Civil Litigation.
Outside of the office, Matthew enjoys golfing, skiing and spending time with family and friends.
